Dronfield Woodhouse Sports and Social Club - 'Local Discount Scheme' Member Details
The Dronfield Woodhouse Sports and Social Club (DWSSC) 'Local Discount Scheme' is designed to provide discount benefits to its members and to promote local businesses within the club and on the club's website (www.dwssc.co.uk). The following Terms and Conditions apply to every member who has been officially issued with a membership and Local Discount card.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The initial period of the scheme
will run for thirteen months from 1st August 2004 until 31st August 2005. Members
will be issued with their membership and Local Discount card upon renewal of their
membership during this period. After this time the scheme will continue with each
business being given the option to change its discount details, or resign from
the scheme, annually at the time of DWSSC membership renewal (normally every September).
2. The discount offered is as detailed, agreed and signed for between the DWSSC and "The Business" on the Local Discount Scheme Agreement form. Details of businesses involved in the scheme and the discount offered, will be available on the DWSSC notice board and on the DWSSC website. There may be slight delay in updating any of these details if any changes are made. The offer of discount applies to goods and services provided by "The Business" at normal retail prices. "The Business" has the option to exclude certain items from the scheme e.g. sale items. It is expected that the majority of goods or services provided at the normal retail price will be offered with a discount to DWSSC members. Any complaint from DWSSC members concerning the excessive exclusion of goods or services from the 'Local Discount Scheme' will be discussed by a DWSSC committee member with "The Business" owner. No negotiations can be entered into by the member and a business offering discount.
3. Discount can only be offered to DWSSC members upon the production of a genuine DWSSC membership and Local Discount card at the point of purchase or order. Without this no discount can be offered. If "The Business" has any doubt that a discount card presented to them is not genuine, or that the person presenting it is not a member of the DWSSC, then they must make reference to the Local Discount Scheme documentation provided to "The Business" by the DWSSC. If doubt still exists, then an explanation must be given to the presenter of the card and no discount can be offered.
4. It is expected that discounted goods or services will only be supplied once in any twenty four hour period, per member. Only the agreed discount will be offered per transaction, even if more than one card is presented.
5. DWSSC have the right to withdraw this 'Local Discount Scheme' at any point due to unusual circumstances. This decision must be taken at a suitable committee meeting and be voted on as per the club rules.
6. The amount of promotional space provided for each business, both in the club and on the club's website is expected to be equal for all businesses but the space provided is at the discretion of the club's committee. No guarantee is made for availability of the website on the internet.
7. DWSSC, its members, its committee or its associates cannot be held responsible for any direct or consequential losses resulting from the provision of any goods or services supplied. Normal consumer laws and English law applies.

DWSSC Membership and Local Discount
Card Details
The Dronfield Woodhouse Sports and Social Club will issue
a membership/Local Discount Scheme card to the member at the point of membership
renewal, or, when a new member joins the club. The cards are similar in size to
a credit card and have a laminated finish on both sides. The images below show
the basic design of the card. The card should always be signed by a member of
the DWSSC committee and the member. The member's membership number should always
be written on the card and will begin with one of the following letters: F, O,
S or Y. Family membership, those beginning with 'F', can include two adults and
all children under 18 in one family. The card will also have the sponsor's name
on it "www.bizhelp24.com".
