Club Facilities
Bonfire & Firework Display: Held every year around Firework night, see home page for details.
Cards: The tables in the lounge are ideal for a game or two of cards.
Darts: A dart board and electronic score counter are provided for the use of members in the games section of the club. Children under 14 are not allowed in the games section.
Dominoes: The tables in the lounge are ideal for a game of dominoes. Friday evening is a popular time for playing dominoes at the DWSSC.
Drinks: Our bar prices are kept low for the benefit of our members. Beers, lagers, wines, spirits, soft drinks etc. are all available at these low prices, all year round. Well worth the low membership fee! If you are not already a member, click here to check out the low membership fees.
Golden Age Club: If you are over 65 years young and live in Dronfield Woodhouse then you are welcome to join our Golden Age Club. We currently have over eighty members and would like to invite even more members to join in with us on our special events and visits to interesting places. We meet at the club every week.
Hire of the Club: The lounge facilities of the club can be hired for your special event. It can accommodate 100+ people. Our smaller room is ideal for your local meetings. Some conditions do apply. Members only, but you can join when booking. Speak to our Bar manager or one of the committee members at the club.
Live Music: Popular bands are often booked for our members entertainment. Please see the WHAT'S ON page of this web site for more details of planned events.
Pool: A pool table is provided in the lounge and is available to be used by members. The pool table is stored out of the way when special events are taking place.
Sport on TV: There is a television in the lounge and a television is provided in the games section of the club. Normal channels and some Freeview channels can be viewed for major sporting events. Other channels can also be viewed, if there are no members present who want to view a major sporting event. Children under 14 are not allowed in the games section of the club.
